What is it with game companies nowadays? They love pandering to everyone except their actual audience. Not just functionality-wise, but the whole principle of it.They've created a launcher that helps people with zero interest in DRM-free gaming be more lazy, meanwhile people like me who actually buy their games primarily from GOG are left to deal with this bulls**t. Even after they replaced the installers with Galaxy it was still fairly headache free so I didn't mind, but since the Galaxy 2.0 beta started it's been trying it's hardest to piss me off. The new Incubator 2.0 for Aurory improves rarity distribution, while the new Neftie rarity system is a 5-star system visually represented on the NFT cards. I was incredibly excited about it to the point where I built a new PC (5900X/RTX 3080) that could handle games I own with the intention of using GOG Galaxy 2.0 and Steam (Steam for Steam, and Galaxy for everything else).
